A long-term project of Christian Seidenstücker, founder and CEO of an internationally active full-service event agency from Germany.
For more than ten years, he has repeatedly come into contact with leading figures in the international event industry. Their paths crossed at industry meetings and trade fairs, at tenders and projects with many, mostly international clients.

But it wasn't until January 2019 that a lucky coincidence led to plenty of time to philosophize together on the sidelines of an event and an idea began to take shape: It's time to break new ground.
What if? ...live communication and DMC services were closely interlinked? ... the conflict between “local logic” and “customer requirements” would no longer take up everyone's time and nerves? ...customers would no longer have to deal with different pricing logics and legal situations in different countries? The solution to these and other operational hurdles in the event business is obvious: a close integration of the “event” and “DMC” trades with a strong network to all relevant partners in the respective market. With a holistic view and treatment of the countless factors involved in large and international events.
You can't do without local partners. However, ten times local logic at a roadshow or pan-European event series is difficult to communicate to customers. As a result, agencies often organize directly on site and realize late or even too late what local pitfalls there are.

It quickly became clear that a new, holistic approach was needed. DMC and event specialists can achieve more together than they can individually. The only thing that needs to be clear is where the priorities of the customer and the project lie, whether local facets follow the logic on site or whether the big picture also determines the details on site.
Confidentially interviewed customers reacted very positively to the idea of integrated, pan-European event and DMC services. It became increasingly clear that something innovative was emerging that the market was looking for more and more urgently. A name was quickly found: SEE - Shared Event Experiences.

In May 2019, SEE Network Spain was founded as the first location in Barcelona. The launch of the international network was targeted for the beginning of 2020...
Then came the pandemic. An economic catastrophe - not only for the tourism and event industry. The enforced pause for the basic idea of the joint, pan-European network lasted, although the economic priorities developed differently over the following three years. For the pioneers in Barcelona, however, this was perhaps the best “proof of concept” we could have wished for.

Because the idea was so strong, it lived on despite all the adversity. More than that. Today, SEE Event + Destination Network uses a shared, international IT backbone from research to guest management and accounting. Branches in several European countries actively work together in the SEE network and offer access to their own specialties and the entire breadth of the event spectrum. Further offices and cooperations in strategically important markets are currently being established. The positive reactions and orders show that the time is ripe for “One Stop Event Sourcing” and that high quality standards combined with the sustainable use of resources are more than ever the key to success.

And so, SEE now stands for Sustainable Event Experience - economically, ecologically and socially, as well as emotionally!
